I guess you can say that I used to love Thai girls but now I just love one Thai girl. I met Jue about 5 years ago while working in Bangkok for a property management company. She was the secretary and I was a leasing agent. I had never been to Thailand before and decided that I needed a break from the UK. So, I picked a destination and searched for a job. I’ve been in the property management business for many years so I knew that the place had to be a metropolis area like Bangkok. So, I went.

When I arrived in Thailand I was just awe struck meaning that my mouth was pretty much in my lap the whole time. Everywhere I looked there were tons of beautiful Thai girls running about. The city was like a million ants running around and Thai girls where the queen. I’d been to Hong Kong before and spent a little time in Vietnam so I knew that Asian girls were pretty but didn’t realize how pretty the Thai girls would be.

Before I left the UK I had had a couple interviews with this company and I actually spoke to Jue a couple times on the phone just to be transferred. I had no idea that she would become my future wife. When I accepted the job I knew that my life would be different and I didn’t know that the difference would be a beautiful Thai girl by my side. I had no intentions of actually staying in Thailand forever but that would all change soon enough.

While living in Thailand I dated many Thai girls but there was always something about Jue. I saw her in the office every day and each day she would always stare at me as I walked by and she would smile at me. I just took this as your average Thai girl smile. You know, the Thai culture and all. But this one was different. There was something behind it. It would all come out one night when we had a party at a bar on Soi 13. She had a little bit of wine and she actually told me that she thought I was cute and that she wanted to go to dinner with me. What was this? She asked me out to dinner? Thai girls don’t do that. They are very shy and would never do that. But she did.

We are now married and we are living here in Bangkok. We’ve been married for about 1.5 years now and we both still work for the same company. Just don’t see her much at the office which is a good thing. Thanks for letting me tell my story.

Being fathers day and all, my friend and his dad visited me this weekend here in Bangkok and my friends dad Michael had never been to Thailand. Michael has been divorced for over 10 years now and hasn’t had a girl friend in 10 years. He has been focusing on his company and hasn’t had time. Well, this weekend that all changed. Michael met a 45 year old and very beautiful Thai girl that caught his eye. We were hanging out in Bangkok for lunch and the cashier at the cafe caught his eye. I think they were eye locked the whole time. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was like watching two school kids. He would eyeball her and she would blush and giggle as she worked. What the hell? He is 58 and she was 45 and I’ve never seen anything like it. This Thai girl had him over a barrel and they hadn’t even exchanged names yet…

Michael doesn’t know a bit of Thai and she only could speak a few words so I went over to the cashier and basically translated what Michael wanted me to. She came over to sit down and have some coffee with us and I talked and this Thai girl talked (I don’t know her name). 30 minutes and not a name was mentioned.

Now, because the Thai girl didn’t speak any English, it really couldn’t go anywhere other than hello, how are you, will you meet us later. Well, she had to work and that was that. We paid and left. I didn’t tell Michael that I got her mobile number for him. I told him that if you want to date some Thai girls then you will need to speak the language just a little. He agreed and that was that. I don’t know if he will learn Thai or not but watching the way he looked and acted with her, I’m sure he will. When we were clear of the cafe I asked Michael what he thought about meeting his first Thai girl and his answer will never leave me. I met my sweet Thai girl about 18 years ago. Yep, I’m a bit of an oldie when it comes to Thai girls. I met her while I was in the Navy and in Thailand. She comes with me on my trips back to America to visit my family. Being in Thailand and married to a Thai girl has had its rewards and it’s challenges. But mostly the rewards. The rewards of being married to a beautiful sweet Thai girl named Nanka.

I’ve lived in Thailand for a few years now and one of the things you can say about Thai girls is that they can’t be summed up into one class of girls. Thai girls are different. There is a radio station in Portland, Oregon 94.7 and they had a slogan for their radio. They would always say “It’s different here”. Well, that is 100% absolutely true. The girls in Thailand are different here. For the better too.

Thai girls are not only beautiful but they are sexy too. Sure, there are some not so friendly ones but the ones that are friendly sure make up for the ones that aren’t. I would put the percentage at 95% that are friendly. Now I haven’t really run into an unfriendly Thai girl but I’ve come close a couple times. Thai girls are all about the smile and for me that is what I do. I smile everywhere I go. I guess you could say it’s just my style. To me a smile goes a long way and in Thailand, the Land of Smiles, it couldn’t be anymore true.

Thai girls are all quite different in their own way. They all have that Asian girl beauty and they all have their own little styles. From their style of motobike to their style of clothes. They all are bit different. Looking from a distance you could say that it’s hard to tell but once you get to know a beautiful Thai girl then you will see for yourself that they all have something different to bring to the table. Yes, it’s true. Last month in April, I married my long time Thai girl friend Supon. She is lovely. We have been engaged for about three years. I know it was a long time for her to be engaged with me but I thought that good things come to those who wait. Besides, I wanted to make sure this Thai girl was the real thing. Yes, Thai girls can cook and believe me, I know! I have been married to my Thai girl for about 7 years now. Kim is a chief here in Washington and we met while I was traveling in Bangkok. We are married and have a daughter now that is 4 years old. We have a great life here in Washington and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, sort of. We are building a house in Thailand and I will retire there when I’m done working here in Washington. Got to have that pension you know.

Now, back to the cooking part. I recently have been told by a friend of mine that I have the perfect marriage. Reason is that Kim can cook. She is the best Thai cook that you will ever see and I just love her food. There is something to be said about Thai girls that can cook. I’m learning first hand that love can be found through ones stomach. That and the personality as well but the food is just amazing. She knows just how I like it too. Not too much spice but just enough to make it perfect.

This is a success story above all stories because I’ve never been happier. I’ve dated a few Thai girls and Kim is absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t change her for anything. We are happy and we both love to do the same things. She has settled to life here in Washington and we both are looking forward to getting back to Thailand. What does the future hold for us? Not sure, I keep going back and forth to Thailand to see her on weekends but that doesn’t solve the immediate issue of not living together. I have stuff at her condo so it’s almost like I live there all the time but just not during the week. She can’t get a visa to come here to stay and I can’t work in Thailand, at least not yet. I’m hoping to get a job there but jobs for foreigners in Thailand are scarce. I will keep trying though. I don’t want to go back to the UK but if push comes to shove then I will have to. Thanks for letting me tell my success story. I met my beautiful Thai girl 2 years ago while traveling in Bangkok. I actually met her online first at ThaiLoveLinks and it was pretty much love at first site. I married Leng a beautiful Thai girl over 3 years ago and I wanted to let you know how it was going. I first met her on your old site about 4 years ago and we were really good together. We really never left each others side. I had been living and working in Thailand for many months before I met her and you had a party that we both went to and that is where I met her. She was all smiles when I met her. She was a bit shorter than me, you see I’m 6 feet tall and she is about 5 feet 5 inches. But the difference in height was not a problem. What we felt for each other has more than made up for it.

I’ve done the whole family thing and if you have ever dated or married a Thai girl then you know what I am talking about. The family was awesome and I couldn’t have asked for better in-laws. Thai girls families make pretty good in-laws. They have taken me in under their wing so to speak and I guess I’m the son Den ever had. Den is my father-in-laws name. He is a really nice guy and he has even offered me a job at his factory but I have declined for now because of my Bangkok job. Money is a lot better where I am now so barring a firing or layoff, I’m staying put. Got a family to feed you know.

It’s my humble opinion that Thai girls make the best compatible partners. Thai girls and including my Thai wife, know what a relationship is all about. You’ve probably heard horror stories about Thai girls only wanting your money well that is simply not true. Not unless she is a Thai bar girl. Then you know it’s all about money. Leng is a office worker and has a bit of money and is very independent. She was before I met her and that is just her personality. Thai girls that are not working girls are like that. I have many farang friends that are married to Thai girls and I’ve yet to hear anything bad. Sometimes we all hang out for dinner or a BBQ and talk. It’s like the movies but without all the drama and of course the location is amazing. Thailand… Are you kidding me? It’s absolutely beautiful in Thailand.

So, in closing, yes, I married a Thai beauty. A Thai girl, a Thai lady and the mother of my future Thai child. So, yes, it’s a success story. One of the best in my eyes. I can remember the first time I went to Thailand. This was a few years ago mind you but I can remember it like it was yesterday. I went with a few friends and can remember the minute I got off the plane in Bangkok. There they were. Thai girls to the left of me and Thai girls to the right of me. I could not escape their beauty much less the sheer amount of them. I knew there was Thai romance in the air and it was thick.

Fast forward a few years later and I’m still traveling to Thailand every couple months on business and never getting enough of it. But, the traveling will soon come to an end. I’m not talking about anything sad here. It’s happiness that I’m writing about. I will soon be getting married in Thailand to a beautiful Thai girl named Kim. That is her English name. I could tell you her Thai name but you wouldn’t be able to pronounce it. Believe me, I had a hard time in the beginning.

Kim is a Thai girl from Chiang Mai and she moved to Thailand 4 years ago and that is where I met her. I met her at Robinsons along Sukhumvit road. She was shopping there and I managed to go and ask her out. I was teaching myself Thai this whole time but it didn’t matter because she spoke really great English. We dated for two weeks before I had to leave and we stayed in contact the whole time I was in the states. My work has an office in Bangkok and I’m not able to transfer there. It’s the sweetest thing. I’ve waited along time for this transfer.

Well, that’s the short version of the story. I will write the longer version of it later. I don’t care what some people may say about Thai girls. There is nothing quite like Thai romance. Thai girls are simply amazing and I guess I’m a bit lucky in love.

I met my Thai bride about 5 years ago. Her name is Suwan and she is from Bangkok. I met her while actually walking at MBK. She owned her own web side design company and I was smitten with her from the beginning. I’ve always loved they way Thai girls look but something was different about her. I really didn’t know until about 5 months later.

We have been married for a few years now and we have welcomed a son and a daughter into the world. It has been nothing but a pure joy living her in Thailand with Suwan. Other Thai girls go un-noticed these days. We spend almost every day together. My work here in Thailand takes me to Chiang Mai and down to Trang but that is ok for she sometimes comes with me.

Having a Thai bride has been very interesting. When we first decided to get married I had no idea what her family would think. I have since become the son her dad never had. He is a great guy and although the family was a bit reluctant in the beginning, they have all come around. It’s not everyday that a foriegner marries a Thai girl in their village.

The ceremony was strange and bizarre and all in a good way. Weddings that I’ve been to in the states are nothing compared to Thai brides. Just to put something to rest, there was NO dowry fee and I’ve never been asked for one so I do believe that may be a myth. Who knows.

After the wedding we spent 2 weeks in New York where my family is from and they all got to meet my new Thai bride. They did not have a chance to fly to Thailand for the wedding so we had a huge ceremony in New York. My mother isn’t quite capable of flying long distances these days but she sure does love Suwan and her new grand children.

My name is Jim and I wanted to send you this letter about my Thai wife. It’s an interesting story and I’d be happy if you posted it on your site. I really love Thai women and even though I’m an old man, it’s a happy story.

The first time I came to Thailand was during the Vietnam war. This was a very sad time for a lot of people in South East Asia but I was working a supply company in East Thailand. That is where I met Sinsu. She was the same age that I was and we hit it off straight from the getgo. I could not speak in Thai and she could not speak any English. This is funny now because in hindsight it was not funny. Imagine a farang and a Thai girl that can’t communicate with their mouths but saw beauty in one another. I do believe it was love at first sight.

Well, we had 9 months together there in Thailand and I eventually had to go back to Seattle, from which I was from. I had her address and and we wrote back and forth. We had to use a translation service in order for the letters to be understood. I told her that I would be back very soon. In the mean time I would try to learn her language and her mine. It was 2 years before I got back to Thailand. She was still waiting for me.

Nothing changed with Sinsu. She still looked the same and I do believe I looked a bit older. Well, that was about over 30 years ago and we are still together. We got married in Thailand and although she wanted to come to America, it seemed very difficult and a lot of paperwork so I decided that I would live in Thailand. After a couple more years in the military, I got out and high tailed it to Thailand.

Sinsu is my Thai wife and I’ve never looked back or at another woman. Each day is filled with love. She is as beautiful as she was the day I met her. Nothing changed. I’ve got a lot more wrinkles on my face but that’s about it. I sure do love her. We work together in her cafe and we spend our weekends running around town. Thailand has given me a life like no other. I don’t care what the naysayers say about things that go on in Thailand. I’ll never leave here…

From Daniel & Nitapan: I met Nitapan, a Thai girl, in Khon Kaen. I spotted her in a crowed cafe there and was too shy to go up to her. So, I asked my friend to go talk to her. Now I’m an older guy and a lot of my friends ask me why I don’t go for younger Thai girls. That’s simple. I’m 57 years old and what am I going to do with a 20 year old Thai girl? People ask me why I like Thai girls and there really is no real answer for that question. Somehow Thai girls just want a man that can take care of them. They love cooking for their man and if you treat them right, then they treat you right. From my experience, Thai girls are not as materialistic as a lot of Western girls. Not saying that they don’t love to shop, Thai girls love to shop. It’s just they know how to treat a man.

All in all it’s great being married to a Thai girl. There are so many positives and believe me, the positives out weigh the negatives. Sure we have some arguments but who doesn’t and it’s not about money either. So, I don’t care what some people say about Thai girls, I love them and I married a beauty. Inside and out!
