Thai Girls

Thai Romance Story From Eric:
I can remember the first time I went to Thailand. This was a few years ago mind you but I can remember it like it was yesterday. I went with a few friends and can remember the minute I got off the plane in Bangkok. There they were. Thai girls to the left of me and Thai girls to the right of me. I could not escape their beauty much less the sheer amount of them. I knew there was Thai romance in the air and it was thick.

Fast forward a few years later and I’m still traveling to Thailand every couple months on business and never getting enough of it. But, the traveling will soon come to an end. I’m not talking about anything sad here. It’s happiness that I’m writing about. I will soon be getting married in Thailand to a beautiful Thai girl named Kim. That is her English name. I could tell you her Thai name but you wouldn’t be able to pronounce it. Believe me, I had a hard time in the beginning.

Kim is a Thai girl from Chiang Mai and she moved to Thailand 4 years ago and that is where I met her. I met her at Robinsons along Sukhumvit road. She was shopping there and I managed to go and ask her out. I was teaching myself Thai this whole time but it didn’t matter because she spoke really great English. We dated for two weeks before I had to leave and we stayed in contact the whole time I was in the states. My work has an office in Bangkok and I’m not able to transfer there. It’s the sweetest thing. I’ve waited along time for this transfer.

Well, that’s the short version of the story. I will write the longer version of it later. I don’t care what some people may say about Thai girls. There is nothing quite like Thai romance. Thai girls are simply amazing and I guess I’m a bit lucky in love.
